Information we collect
We may collect account information such as your name, email address, business name, logo, branding settings, reply-to email, subscription status, and support requests. We may also collect client information entered into the service, including client names, email addresses, phone numbers, agreement details, package or option selections, confirmation answers, signatures, timestamps, IP addresses, and device or browser information.
Agreement and signing records
SurelySigned stores agreement content, signed records, client selections, confirmation answers, payment status, deposit status, payment request status, and proof details so that businesses can keep a clear record of what clients reviewed, selected, confirmed, paid, and signed.
Payment information
Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We may store payment status, deposit amounts, payment request amounts, payment intent identifiers, connected account identifiers, refund status, and related transaction metadata needed to operate the service.
Email and SMS information
We may use email addresses and phone numbers to send transactional messages about accounts, agreement links, signing confirmations, payment requests, deposits, refunds, reminders, and support. Email delivery may be handled by providers such as Resend. SMS delivery may be handled by providers such as Twilio. Message frequency varies based on account and booking activity.
How we use information
We use information to provide the service, create and send agreements, collect signatures and confirmations, process deposits and payment requests, generate proof records, send transactional emails or SMS messages, manage accounts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, improve the product, and comply with legal or processor requirements.
How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the product, such as hosting and infrastructure providers including Vercel, database and authentication providers including Supabase, email providers including Resend, SMS providers including Twilio, payment processors including Stripe, analytics tools, and support tools. We may also share information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud.
Mobile information
We do not sell mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent information. We do not share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared only with service providers that help deliver or support the requested transactional messages, or as required by law.
Communication choices
You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS may not stop non-SMS transactional emails that are necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, deliver agreements, confirm signatures, or respond to support requests.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed without authorization.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain proof records, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Businesses are responsible for deciding how long they need to retain their own signed agreements and client records.
Your choices
You may update certain account information through the service. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other assistance with your information, subject to legal, security, and business recordkeeping requirements.
Children
SurelySigned is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it if appropriate.
